Architecture students from the University of Texas have the opportunity to learn hands through a design-build project for the non-profit Urban Organics, which hosts the greenhouse Agua Dulce Farms. Urban Organics is funding the project and providing the opportunity for us to undertake this design-build project as part of the UTSOA Construction II class. We are working on three different projects on the farm: The Green Chapel, The Ed Shed, and The Guest Edge. The Design/Build process is an invaluable experiential learning experience that allows us to directly apply our knowledge from the classroom.
